They got easy opponents en-route to semifinals. Basel and Marseille didnai??i??t offer enough resistance and the Germans booked a mouth watering date with La Liga Champs Real Madrid. Bayern have a great history against Madrid having never lost any matches on their home turf. Even their overall head to head record is impressive. Heynckesai??i?? side progressed through a nail biting penalty shoot-out. Having knocked out teams from Swiss, France, Spain and it is to be seen whether they can blow the English as well.

On the other hand, it has been an extraordinary fairy tale sort of scenario at London. Chelsea is Chelsea. They donai??i??t know even what they can do. Having seen the destiny writer playing a see-saw game last Sunday, Chelsea can hope to avoid any such torments. John Terry, the Chelsea skipper will miss the final due to suspension.
