That the player himself has not volunteered in putting his transfer speculations to rest suggests Robin van Persie may not be entirely convinced with the idea of prolonging his stay at Arsenal. With only one more year left in his contract, Arsenal will sell him now, if at all they do. He still has years by his side and might consider this the right time to make the move. Daniel Sturridge wants a Chelsea exit

Sturridge was not deemed good enough to start for Chelsea and the Englishman believes this is the reason for his omission from the national side for Euros. At this stage, with their attack having been considerable bolstered with the signings of Hazard and Marin and Hulk too believed to be in the pipeline, Chelsea will not mind getting rid of a player who has almost initiated a mutinous move.
