(IOS), in partnership with principal sponsors TheHardTackle.com, launched the first edition of “TheHardTackle Corporate Football Cup – 2012” being held at Plaza Farms in Chattarpur, New Delhi. TheAi??inaugural 7-a-side event will be played over two days on the weekend of March 3 and 4, 2012.
TheHardTackle Corporate Cup – 2012 sees 32 Corporate teams face-off in a league and knockout tournament. The group stage consists of 8 groups of 4 teams, with the first, second and third placed teams in the group entering the Gold cup, Silver cup and Bronze cup in the knockout competition.

Deepak Bodla, midfielder of the MDI alumni team, showered praise on the organisers. “It is a wonderful experience and the whole venue oozes class. When you enter the venue, you want to play football and never leave”.
There is a special incentive for individual brilliance as well, with the ‘Best Player of the Tournament’ and the ‘Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament’ receiving merchandise signed by Indian football legend Baichung Bhutia.
