Premier League Soccer has been freed from legal hassels and now their main challenge is to find home grounds for each franchisee. Barasat and Howrah franchisees have finalized their respective home grounds while other franchisees are in touch with corresponding football

As expected, Chruchill Brothers have parted ways with Manuel Gomes and a new coaching team has been put in his place. Carlos Perreira, who has coached the Goan club before, has been appointed as coach with ex-Mohun Bagan and East Bengal coach Subhash Bhowmik taking over as technical director. Chirag Kerala is also looking out for a new coach in place of Sri Lankan Pakir Ali. Chirag are struggling to save relegation and club administration is reportedly looking to employ a coach from West Bengal.

Indian squad for AFC Challenge Cup reached Delhi on Tuesday and will be flying to Dubai for a preparation camp. Recently retired players Climax Lawrence and Mahesh Gawli were also honoured by AIFF in a ceremony held on Tuesday. Both players were handed a silver memento along with jersies signed by their national team mates.

India U22 has been drawn into an extremely difficult qualification group for AFC U22 Championship. UAE, Lebanon, Iraq, Oman and Turkmenstan are part of Group A which also contains India. Matches will take placed between June 23 and July 3, 2012.
