9′- GOALLLLLL ! Goan Blues take the lead through Ranti Martins. The number 9 strikes the ball from outside the D area to beat Sangram all ends up.
11′- GOALLLLL! Dempo is on fire. Joachim doubles the lead for the home side to send the crowd into delirium. Its’ Dempo 2-0 Mohun Bagan already.
13′- Ranti misses a sitter as he could not capitalize on the through ball by Clifford, after dhanarajan gave away possession.
17′- Mohun Bagan defense is in sixes and sevens as Anwar totally mis-judges a long ball, misses his header only to see that Sangram had come out to clear the danger.
21′- Kingshuk shrewdly takes the ball away from Ranti as he was looking sharp to slot in another one.
25′- first corner for MB as a good cross by Dhanarajan meant for Satish is cleared by Debabrata.
26′- The corner is cleared. It is still 2-0 in favor of the home side.
35′- Mohun Bagan finally getting into groove, after a nervy start, especially at the back. The match could have been easily sealed by Dempo, if not for some lack luster striking.
36′- Joachim crosses the ball, which is deflected for a corner by Sourav.
37′- A dangerous ball floated in by Climax, Sangram tries to fist the ball out, but is eventually met by Sourav, who gifts another corner to the Goan side.
38′– GOALLLLLL!Ai?? It is 3-0 now as Dempo’s right back Samir Naik slots the ball in the Mohun Bagan net for the third time.
39′- Naik got lucky with the rebound as Ranti’s initial shot was saved by diving Sangram.
42′- Mohun Bagan brewing up a attacks as Sunil Chettri heads the ball goal wards, but over the bar
44′- Another corner for Dempo.
45′-Ai??2 mins of time added by the ref. As another Dempo attack is cleared byAi?? Sourav. The game has opened up dramatically in the last few minutes.
47′- GOAAAALLLLLL !!! it is humilitaion now for the Kolkata side as Ranti slots his second for the afternoon to give a more than comfortable lead to his side before the lemon break. It’s 4-0. None of the Bagan players would like to go into the dressing room awith this scoreline to face the coach’s music.
Half time at PJN, Margao with crowd singing in the stands. Mohun Bagan will have to script fightback of fightbacks, if they need to clinch any sort of points from this tie. Will they come out with all guns firing, or will it be damage control for the former champs? stay tuned for the second half updates.
46′- Second half gets underway.
48′- Dempo starting off from where they left, with Clifford and Climax exchanging neat passes in the middle.
Ai??50′- GOAAAALLLLL ! well it is 5-0 now . Joachim Abranches makes it five star performance for the former champions. Mohun Bagan defense which hasntAi??looked comfortable all afternoon once again went to sleep. Unbelievably, it is Dempo 5 – 0 Mohun Bagan inside 50 minutes here in Goa.
52′- Free kick to MB in a dangerous position. Jewel Raja takes it, but it is cleared easily by the Dempo backline.
57′- Sub ( Mohun Bagan ) Daljit Singh IN, Rahim Nabi OUT.
63′- Daljit Singh tries his luck as he blasts the ball towards Dempo goal, but straight into the arms of Subhashish.

72′- Sub ( Dempo ) Godwin IN, Climax OUT.
74′- Joachim looks to complete his hat trick as he found one on one with the goalkeeper, but he is caught offside.
76′- Mohun Bagan trying hard to get a consolation goal, but the ball is calmly headed back to Subhashish by Samir. It is still 5-0 in favor of Dempo.
78′- Rakesh Masih lies down injured on the field. This is the best result as far as winning by a margin is concerend. The 5-0 right now beats 4-1, when Dempo got the better of the kolkata side by a huge margin.
82′- Sub ( Dempo ) Joy IN, Joachim OUT.
85′- Dempo looking for a sixth goal, as they churn a good attack from the mid field. The danger is cleared by the MB defense. One would feel it is too late for that.
88′- Corner to Dempo as an unchallenged Anthony fires a shot which is deflected behind the goal. MB defense clears the corner ball without much fuss.
89′- Free kick to Jewel after he is tackled by Samir. He takes a qiuck free kick which lands in Sunil’s feet and his shot goes wide. Pity insipid performance by MB striker force today.
90′- 3 minutes added by the Ref .
93′- It’s Full time here at Margao, as the agony for Mohun Bagan comes to an end. absolutely brilliant performance by Dempo, completely outplaying the Kolkata side to sit on the summit of the table. Joachim Abranches, is the TheHardTackle’s Man of the Match. Once again, the match finishes Dempo SC 5-0 Mohun Bagan AC.

Kick off : 19:00 IST

In the last game of Round 3 I- League 2011/12 ,Ai?? the Mumbaikars, eight in the table , face mighty Kingfisher East Bengal, who surprisingly are at bottom with just one point, separated by goal difference with HAL and the Arrows. A win for Mumbai would take them into the top 5 whereas three points for East Bengal would kick off their season
Ai??
Here are the two starting line-ups:-
Teams:Ai??
Mumbai FC : Ishan Debnath (GK) , Kingsley, Dhanachandra , Nicholos Rodrigues , Abhishek Yadav , Cavin Lobo , Kutty Mani, Ebi Sukore , Malsawmkima , Rehman, AjmaludheenEast Bengal : Gurpreet (GK), Nirmal Chettri , Okpara , Baljit Sahini , Harmanjot Khabra , Naoba Singh , Alan Gow , Vashum , Tolga Ozbey , Lalhlamuana ,Ai?? Subodh Kumar
0′ : Minutes for the kick off. Mumbai FC playing right to left in their traditional yellow while East Bengal in their away whites
2′ : Initial few exchanges from both sides as they look to settle down on this Balewadi pitch which is hosting its third match in the last 24 hours
Ai??3′ : Baljit Sahini brought down as Alan Gow takes the free kick straight into the hands of keeper Ishan Debnath
Ai??5′ : Expected empty stands here in Balewadi as Mumbai FC play their home matches in Pune which has been fairly lucky for the Mumbaikars
8′ : Long throw in from Dhanachandra on the left well collected by young Gurpreet
10′ : Chance for East Bengal as Tolgey and Gow look to press upfronnt but Mumbai have looked solid defensively in these early moments
12′ : Ebi Sukore brings down Naoba Singh and ref just signals a foul no card , that’s better from the Refs who have been under the microscope from the word go this season
15′ : Mumbai FC 0 – 0 East Bengal : Gow to Tolgey in the D who connects is header well but fails to bury it in. CLeared by Rehman
17′ : Naoba brought down again , this time by Abhishek Yadav. Did he get the ball there ? if no,t that should have been a yellow !
20′ : East Bengal have major share of the possession here. Roughly 70-30 ! But can they make use of the ball. Its been one real attempt on goal so far. With Baljit , Gow and Olgey the shots on target should be high if KEB want more than 1 pt.
24′ : Back to back corners for East Bengal now. Oh and what a waste from Alan Gow.
26′ : Mumbai are hardly making any build up move. Only weapon that they seem to have is the long ball throws from Dhanachandra
29′ : Harmanjot placing the ball on the right wing from deep into KEB’s half but Mumbai seek to be contended with such attacks. Trevor Morgan’s long ball tactics here are not working here. Need more creativity to break free.
31′ : Sukore to ABhishek Yadav who runs thruogh and passes on to Nicholes Rodrigues on the left who crosses one in back for Abhishek Yadav , tries to curl, but is wide. First good move for Mumbai !
35′ : Mumbai FC 0 – 0 East Bengal ; Long ball in from Dhanachandra for Kuttymani but Ref calls a foul for pushing in the box
36′ : WHAT a GOAAALL by Kuttymani !!! Magnificent from Sampath Kuttymani who bangs one in from outside the box.Splendid goal on the volley Sampath showed some great control there. Real quality this lad
37′ : Mumbai FC 1 – 0 East Bengal
40′ : Long ball from the midfield for KEB straight inbto the D for Tolgey, heads it down for Alan Gow who places one in towards the goal but no real power in the shot . Ishan Debnath collects it well. Good move that though.
42′: Ozbey on the run from the left and takes a low shot just wide off the post . That was netter by KEB. More of this needed and soon !
44′ : Vashum there on the wings now and signs of some desperation from East Bengal. They need a good showing here. Straight hopeful balls into the air wont do any good.
45′ : Alan Gow now comes back into his own half to collect the ball passed by Naoba Singh but Mumbai just crowd it out there in midfield. Good tactics from Khalid Jamil. Tolgey Ozbey gets a yellow for a tackle on Cavin Lobo. Frustration being shown there by the KEB forward.
Ai??HALF TIME : Mumbai FCAi?? 1Ai?? -Ai?? 0Ai?? Kingfisher East Bengal
Balewadi have been lucky for Mumbai teams . The airmen got the beeter of defending champions Salgaokar by three goals to one yesterday and now Mumbai FC lead East Bengal by one goal. On the other hand Bengali teams have been struggling off late. Mohun Bagan were thrashed by Dempo in Goa today. Can Kingfisher East Bengal restore some pride for Bengal ? Second Half to kick off soon…
45′ : Mumbai begin by clearing the ball wide into KEB’s half as East Bengal are on the attack straight away with Robert and Alan Gow who has his hair colored RED.
Ai??48′ : Mumbai looking to slow down things as Ishan Debnath lazily collects the ball. Khalid Jamil gets off the bench toAi?? make sure his boys are on the guard .
50′ : Possession cheaply given away yet again by the KEB. Mumbai on the other hand are not looking threatening at all, apart from the counters !
Ai??53′ : Better from East Bengal now as a couple of good moves from Alan Gow and Tolgey Ozbey shows a little more urgency in the game.
57′ : OH and what a chance for Robert Lathlamuana. The ball fell wonderfully for Robert’s left foot as he hit a strong shot which looked liked it hit the back of the net but it was from the outside much to the agony. But good lively play from Tolgey on the left as it was his move that caused Debath to parry away the ball into Robert’s feet
60′ : And Trevor Morgan has made all three substitutions ; OkparaAi?? has come out and are being replaced by Penn Orji , Sanju Pradhan and Gurwinder Singh
63′ : Crucial period this . If East Bengal can score now they can actually on and win to gather 3 pts. Mumbai are just sitting into their own half.
67′ : Mumbai get a corner and a golden opportunity to Kuttymani as he just could not connect. Such counters and dead ball situations are all that Mumbai can rely on !
69′ : GOOOOAAAAL !!! Substitute Sanju Pradhan scores here for East Bengal out of absolutely nothing ! Cracker of a goal from Sanju as he kept it flat and low and that shot has some power
Ai??70′ : Mumbai FC 1 – 1 East Bengal
Ai??71′ : GOOOOAALAi?? GOOOAAAL . !!! Tolgey Scores. KEB have turned it around here . What a fantastic finish that. Perji passed it through to Tolgey who got the better of two defenders there , showing great strength to stay on his feet and finishing off a fabulous goal
72′ : Mumbai FCAi?? 1Ai?? -Ai?? 2Ai?? East Bengal
75′ : What a come-back from KEB as Khalid Jamil brings in Friday for Cavin Lobo.
78′ : Alan Gow looks to go forward, stopped in the midfield and now its Sanju Pradhan who has beem inspirational for KEB. Meanwhile Baljit SIngh Sahini and Pen Orji are doing all the running here . Trevor Morgan’s three subs have worked BIG TIME !
81′ : GOAL GOAL GOAL ! What scramble in Mumbai box and Vashum capitalizes and drills the third goal in for KEB. Its been a complete transformation and THREE crucial points for East Bengal. Game -set- match !
82′: Mumbai FCAi?? 1Ai?? – 3 East Bengal
85′ : Difficult to see Mumbai score a goal in this half. MFC have been slow and contended from the very start of the half. What else can such a defensive laid back approach deserve? After a promising first half Mumbai FC have failed miserably here at Balewadi
87′ : Neat play from East Bengal so much better from the first half. Trevor Morgan totally deserves the credit. Baljit Singh Sahini has been very energetic throughout, thoughAi?? not on the score sheet , deserves the faith shown by the coach in him.
89′ : Some drama here at Balewadi as Tolgey Ozbey has been pulled down byAi??Ajmaludheen . Has to be afoul and a penalty too. Ajmaludheen followed that with a nasty kick as Tolgey was about to get up. Its a free kick just outside the box. Alan Gow lines up to take it.
92′ : Goooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalll !. Alan Gow scores directly from the free klick as the ball hits the posts and goes into the net. No chance for Ishan Debnath as he stood his ground.
93′ : Mumbai FCAi?? 1Ai?? – 4Ai?? East Bengal
94′ : And there goes the whistle. It has been a terrific turnaround for Kingfisher East Bengal
FUL TIME : Mumbai FCAi?? 1Ai?? -Ai?? 4Ai?? Kingfisher East Bengal
Four different goal scorers in the likes of Sanju Pradhan , Tolgey Ozbey , Vashum and Alan Gow have made sure that Kingfisher East Bengal deliver the first win of the season. KEB have leaped to sixth in the table and Mumbai FC are in twelfth just one place above the relegation zone !
