Inquizitivity – Quiz 17

Chain-Quizzing (c)TheHardTackle continues with another round, this similar to Quiz-16 as far as format and points go. All the best.

Question 1:

D’ was Europe’s best player the year in which ‘C’ won the Silver Ball (or the second best player). ‘D’ has represented his country 95 teams managing to net 45 goals in those matches. He is one of the legends of his native club that he played for. He played 3 years in an Italian club, the sale to which was a record in those days. A British Pop duo had recorded a song as a tribute to ‘D’.

Question 5:

‘E’ played 3 years in the club ‘D’ ended his club career at. ‘E’ is his country’s all-time leading goal-scorer and captain now. He played three years at a German club, scoring the highest number of goals in the first year he completed there. He now plays for a local club in his country. He has scored two goals in the 2006 Fifa World Cup.
