Chain-Quizzing (c)TheHardTackle is back with a special edition. This week you get to score more points than the normal (90+50 Bonus=140) points. Question 1 to 5 carry 10 points each, like always. Q.6&7 and Q.7&8 carry 70 points each (10 +10 – person names, 50 – Connect between them). Q.10 carries the normal 50 points bonus.

Don’t miss the Inqui-Points-Tally at the end of the quiz.

All the best.

Question – 1:

‘A’ was born in an African Country, but he spent most of his early life in Spain as his parents had moved there. ‘A’ didn’t play for Spain though in a World Cup, choosing his ‘birth-country’ as his International Team. In his first match for his country in a World Cup, he was sent off, considered one of the fastest red-cards in football history. He had played in a top English club for several years.

Question – 2:

‘B’ was once verbally abused by ‘A’ when the former missed a penalty in a crucial match of the season. ‘B’ has been a prolific goal-scorer for every club he has played in his life. He has played in top clubs of The Netherlands, England and Spain. He has records in two leagues as far as scoring goals in consecutive matches is concerned.

Question – 3:

When ‘B’ had made a crude remark on a club-mate during training, he was referring to ‘C’ and not to his club-mate’s father.  ‘B’ has had two spells as manager of his country 17 years apart. Many credit ‘C’ with discovering the ‘Golden Generation’ of footballers for his country. He has been assistant manager to one of the greatest managers of club football.

Question – 4:

‘D’ belongs to that ‘Golden Generation’ of footballers of his country. ‘D’ started and ended his football career at the same local football club of his country. In between, he had spells at two clubs in Italy, playing 215 matches for one of them. ‘D’ had once scored a screamer of a goal against England at an International European tournament.

Question – 5:

‘E’ currently plays at the club ‘D’ had a ‘love-affair’ with. A career full of injuries and sickness, ‘E’ played as a playmaker for his country. He had a successful 5 year spell at a Spanish club including a Final appearance in the UEFA Champions League. The last time he played for his country, he assisted his striker in the first goal of the 2-1 victory, that being a World Cup qualifier.

Question – 6 & 7:

Find ‘The Connect’ between ‘F’ and ‘G’. Of Course, name them too.

Question – 8 & 9:

Find ‘The Connect’ between ‘H’ and ‘I’. Of Course, name them too.

Question – 10:

Identify ‘J’. (Find some sort of a connect between ‘J’ and ‘B’, no points will be deducted for not answering this.)

The Inqui-Points-Tally (IPT) calculated from Quiz-9 to Quiz-15, looks like this: The Top-5 at Mid-Season will be ‘showcased’ on our website along with other prizes. This is your chance. Don’t miss it. Go Chain-Quizzing.
