Robert Lewandowski is reportedly ready to turn down the advances of Manchester United and PSG to join Barcelona in the summer.
According to reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Robert Lewandowski is prioritising joining Barcelona in the summer transfer window. The Bayern Munich striker is prepared to snub Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain to seal a move to Camp Nou.
Robert Lewandowski will soon complete a fruitful and productive stint with Bayern Munich, where he has transformed into a goal machine in the last eight years. The Polish international has been the most prolific player in Europe in the last three seasons and has enjoyed another solid campaign in 2021/22.
The 33-year-old has amassed 50 goals and seven assists in 46 appearances across all competitions. But Lewandowski seems to have no future at Bayern Munich following recent comments, where he revealed that he wants to embark on a new adventure in the summer transfer window. Such a situation has captured the attention of Barcelona, Manchester United and PSG.
The interest from Barcelona is understandable, considering Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi have left a gaping hole in their attacking unit in the last two years. The Catalan giants have not been as productive in the final third this season, meaning Lewandowski could be a brilliant addition at Camp Nou in the summer. And with the Pole pushing to move to Barcelona, a summer transfer is on the cards.
As for Manchester United, the Red Devils need to bring in a replacement for Edinson Cavani, who will depart from Old Trafford as a free agent in the summer transfer window. And Lewandowski will potentially be an upgrade on the Uruguayan striker at Manchester United.
Meanwhile, the links with PSG come in the wake of rampant uncertainties surrounding the future of Kylian Mbappe. The French international will likely move to Real Madrid in a Bosman move in the summer transfer window, prompting PSG to enter the market for a prolific replacement like Lewandowski.

But the Bayern Munich striker has no interest in moving to Manchester United or PSG. The 33-year-old has his heart set on joining Barcelona, with the two parties already having on the same page over the terms of the contract. But Bayern Munich could still play spoilsport for Lewandowski and Barcelona following recent comments by their board members.
