A Mohamed Salah brace was enough to earn Liverpool all three points as they beat Watford 2-0 at Anfield in Saturday’s lunch-time kick-off.
A stubborn Watford side gave Liverpool no inch, with the hosts struggling to carve out clear-cut opportunities. The deadlock was finally broken in the 38th minute, when Mohamed Salah produced a fine right-footed curler to finish off an express counter-attacking move.
The remainder of the game continued in the same pattern before Salah doubled his tally and rounded the win off by flicking the ball into the open net from point-blank range after a scuffed shot by Divock Origi. With Leicester City yet to play, Liverpool are now 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League table. And fans hailed Salah post the game.

I saw people asking him to be dropped and criticising him as he still played through an injury but Salah can shut the haters up now.
Back in form with 4 goals in 2 games, 84 goals for us which is more than Suarez and Torres yet he’s still disrespected.
He’s the king. pic.twitter.com/2gYWNqoJy5

Joe Gomez was brilliant as Dejan Lovren’s replacement, even outclassing Virgil van Dijk, whose comical errors was noted by the fans as well.
