Jordan Henderson has heaped praise on teenage midfielder Jude Bellingham after his terrific display in the Champions League for Borussia Dortmund.
Jude Bellingham’s name was raved about during his formative years at Birmingham City. The teenage midfielder has come under the spotlight after leaving the club and putting in some impressive performances at Borussia Dortmund, which has seen him linked instantly back to the Premier League.
The youngster has become a key part of the Dortmund side, and last season was one of their stars alongside Erling Haaland, Giovanni Reyna and Jadon Sancho, who has since moved to Manchester United. His performances have continued to attract interest, with Liverpool reportedly willing to pay top dollar for the midfielder.
His latest display against Besiktas in the Champions League, where he got himself on the scoresheet, intensified transfer matters. Many top Premier League sides are keeping tabs on the youngster, who seems destined to move next summer.
Borussia Dortmund reportedly demands €100 million for the teenager, as the German sides are known to nurture talent and sell them for a massive profit.
Following Bellingham’s Champions League performance, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and many other footballers praised the teenager on Instagram. He commented on Bellingham’s post, simply saying, “Love to see it.”

And if they are successful in signing Bellingham, he will become their record signing, considering Dortmund’s demands are met.
Ironically, Bellingham could become Henderson’s long-term successor at the club despite the captain signing a new long term deal. The transfer stories to next summer are building up nicely, and the teenage midfielder will surely be one of the biggest names on radars.
It remains to be seen if Bellingham will be keen on signing up for Liverpool amid interest from other big clubs such as Manchester United and Manchester City. However, Jurgen Klopp will take him in a heartbeat, and in general, the midfielder will be a great addition to the ranks at Anfield.
