Red Monday didn’t turn out to be as great as it was hyped up to be
Fans on Twitter weren’t too happy with the goalless draw between Liverpool and Manchester United, and James Milner exemplified their feelings perfectly.
Fans were expecting a high octane display of brilliant attacking football, but were treated to a match where not even a single goal was scored. The likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Philippe Coutinho, Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Daniel Sturridge all failed to find the back of the net.

One of the images from the game going viral is that of Liverpool left-back James Milner apparently asleep on the grass. The veteran Englishman had been tackled by Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford in the first half, and his play acting was of epic proportions.
Fans on Twitter were quick to use the image as an analogy of the game itself. Sleep inducing.
