The Blues thrashed Manchester United 4-0 at Stamford Bridge, and the selection of Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini left many fans infuriated.
Fellaini can never be a popular figure for too long at Manchester United. His brief period of resurgence came to an end when they lost the Manchester derby, following which he was dropped from the first team.
However, manager Jose Mourinho has once again started picking Fellaini for big games. He did so against Chelsea and the former Everton midfielder didn’t have much of an impact on the game, even as his club was thoroughly beaten.
The fans remain puzzled as to how Fellaini consistently gets selected over the likes of Michael Carrick and Morgan Schneiderlin.
