Barcelona looked their best as they dismantled Las Palmas and coasted to a 5-0 victory. Goals from Lionel Messi, Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal, and a brace from Luis Suarez ensured Luis Enrique was a happy man after last week’s disappointing 1-1 draw with Villarreal.
Barcelona are now 2nd on the table, with Sevilla dropping to third although they have a game in hand which they will play against league leaders Real Madrid tomorrow night. It was a convincing performance by Enrique’s men, and Barca fans were understandably pleased.
Suarez came in for some deserved praise after the Uruguayan followed up his 100th goal for Barca in all competitions against Athletic Bilbao with a brace against Las Palmas.

Nice assist from André Gomes, and very good finish from Suárez too. Great to see him rediscovering his consistent goalscoring form.

Besides Messi’s football intelligence, the most underrated aspect of his game is his passes, best passer ever, and nobody comes close to him

Aleix Vidal also got some much deserved praise after a fine performance.

Aleix Vidal with a better performance than any of Roberto’s in three months. Scores & points to the badge too. Lucho CANNOT sell him.

Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal.
Both waited 6 months.

Barcelona’s best match this season by a landslide. Excellent from top to bottom, Aleix Vidal the man of the match for me.

And last but not least, the 4th goalscorer also got a good reception on Twitter after another good showing.

If Mr. Enrique wants to keep winning, he should seriously consider @ArdaTuran in first 11 properly! Find a place for Neymar???@FCBarcelona

This is the reason @ArdaTuran should play every single match, hope Luis Enrique has it clear. #FCBLasPalmas @FCBarcelona #FCBlive
