Barcelona are reportedly among the clubs that have been offered the chance to sign Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer.
According to a report by Italian outlet Calciomercato, Alexandre Lacazette appears set to depart the Emirates in the summer transfer window. The Arsenal striker has been offered to Barcelona among other top European clubs by his agent, with an exit on the cards.
Lacazette joined Arsenal from Lyon in the summer of 2017 and has since blown hot and cold at the Emirates. While he impressed in his maiden campaign, the Frenchman has been too inconsistent for his own liking, although he is the top scorer for the Gunners this season.
So far in Arsenal colours, Lacazette has 59 goals and 28 assists in 158 appearances to show for his efforts. However, the north Londoners are in a precarious position over his future, with his contract having just a little over a year remaining on it. The latest reports suggest that the 29-year-old is looking to leave Arsenal this summer in search of a new adventure. And, he has now been offered to Barcelona.
Barcelona have been rumoured to be in the market for a striker ahead of the summer transfer window, having chosen not to sign a replacement for Luis Suarez last year. In addition, captain Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann are facing an uncertain future at Camp Nou, meaning it might just become a necessity for the Blaugrana to bolster their attack this summer.
To that end, a move for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has been mooted, with Lacazette now emerging as a viable target. Having said that, it is unclear whether Barcelona have responded positively to being offered the chance to swoop him away from Arsenal.

Apart from Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Juventus have also been offered the chance to sign Lacazette, with the Bianconeri also being linked with Jesus lately. The report specifically mentions Juventus’s possible interest in the Arsenal striker, claiming that they are yet to decide if they wish to pursue a move for him.
Meanwhile, Arsenal, on their part, are also scouring for possible replacements, with Andre Silva being identified as a possible target. However, with Mikel Arteta recently speaking about a possible renewal for Lacazette, it will be interesting to see if the Gunners are able to tie him down to a new contract, or if he joins Barcelona or some other club this summer.
