Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Kylian Mbappe and are plotting a bumper 200 million summer bid to land the AS Monaco star, currently on loan at PSG.
Big name transfers and Real Madrid are synonymous. Madrid is looking forward to bolster their attack ever since they had a slow start in La Liga. The two main targets for Real Madrid have been Neymar and Kylian Mbappe for the past few months.
Continuous delegations have been taking place between the two teams, but so far nothing looks conclusion for either. Spanish media outlet Don Balon has shed some light on the current situation of the signings.
Real Madrid is showing a keen interest in the young French talent Kylian Mbappe who has shown great prospect on the pitch of the Parisians and are ready to shell out a huge sum of 200 million euros. Just hours before the European Clasico, Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos confirmed this transfer rumour and cited the team presidents interests.
Madrid president Florentino Perez has shifted his sights from winger Neymar to the youngster whose unique playstyle bounds him for success.
Mbappe has been linked to several clubs ever since his move to PSG. The young lad is on a loan-to-buy deal from AS Monaco at PSG. The Frenchman was linked to Real Madrid’s archrivals, Barcelona in the month of February. However, the youngster himself has displayed his affection for Madrid instead.
PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaïfi from Qatar got the Frenchman on a loan deal from Monaco with an option to buy for €180 million for the 2017-2018 season. This was done in order to bolster their attacking front even more and get a Champions League win.
Recently it had been speculated that the youngster isn’t able to find a place in the team upon arrival of Barcelona star Neymar. Many pundits claim that Real Madrid is more interested in Neymar over Mbappe but confirmation from the captain himself clears things out.
It has been confirmed that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has agreed to drop his plans for Neymar if PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaïfi agrees to not activate the buy clause worth 180 million euro for Mbappe, paving the way for Real Madrid to sign the Frenchman.
The intent of Real Madrid has been made clear but PSG hasn’t shown any signs of budging. The French giants have invested a lot in Mbappe and the ex-Barca winger to form their leading front-runner duo. But, if they are prioritise one of the two, they are likely to prefer Neymar over the youngster, meaning Real Madrid could be able to bring Mbappe over to the Bernabeu.
