The biggest transfer rumour this morning is that Serie A champions Juventus have tabled a huge bid for rival Napoli’s star striker Gonzalo Huguain.
The usually parsimonious club’s mega offer for the Argentine has sparked excitement among Man United fans, who think this is a clear sign that their French midfielder Paul Pogba is leaving.
Higuain’s Napoli contract has a massive release clause of €94 million and I Bianconeri are willing to meet that figure, as well as offer I Partenopei players in exchange. The Serie A Champions have now emerged as front-runners to sign Higuain, who is also being targetted by Arsenal.

Juventus are actually paying Higuaín’s £78m release clause. That’s some massive figure. Too steep, but who cares? They’re getting a WC #9

According to the reliable @DiMarzio Juventus have agreed terms with Higuain! Surely Juve can’t afford to buy him with out selling Pogba?

Manchester United fans were the most excited at the Serie A champion’s transfer activities though. They put two and two together to conclude that such a huge bid for Higuain would surely mean that the Serie A Champions were ready to sell star midfielder Paul Pogba to United for a massive transfer fee.
If Higuain is heading to Juventus, unless Juventus have found a gold chest under the sea, Pogba is DEFINITELY leaving!

Juventus are prepared to pay Higuain’s release clause at €94m. The only way they could possibly afford this is to sell Paul Pogba. #MUFC

Higuain off to Juventus? Is that them spending their own money… Or the incoming Pogba money?
— TweetChelseaFC (@TweetChelseaFC) July 14, 2016
If Juventus sign Higuain it effectively means that Pogba to United is all but done. It’s impossible for them afford the finances without…
