Zlatan Ibrahimovic took to social media to announce his new club on Thursday. As many expected, the Swedish striker will join Premier League giants Manchester United.
It has been an exciting summer for Manchester United in a number of ways. Firstly, the “Special One”, Jose Mourinho was announced as the new manager. This was followed by the signing of highly-rated Ivorian centre-back Eric Bailly. Names like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Julian Draxler have also been closely linked with the Red Devils, and now one of those players has confirmed his arrival.
Ibrahimovic announced via Instagram, and then via his Twitter account that Manchester United would be his next club. It was pretty much a given that he would be joining Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, and the only question was “when” and not “if” he would announce it.
The prolific Swede tweeted:
Time to let the world know. My next destination is @ManUtdpic.twitter.com/DAK7iYlrCq

Fans, who absolutely adore the striker, went berserk on Twitter:
