Karim is very happy at Real Madrid – Karim Djaziri
Arsene Wenger was reportedly prepared to wait till the end of the window to sign his top target, with Real Madrid unwilling to sell, as they don’t yet have a superstar lined up to replace the 27-year-old.
.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Karim Djaziri, Benzema’s agent said: “Karim is very happy at Real Madrid and he will be a Real Madrid player by the end of this transfer window, 1,000 per cent.
“Karim is not looking to move anywhere this summer.”

Benzema or bust for Arsenal FC?
The Gunners have signed a marquee player in their last two summer window’s, with the addition of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for a club record fee, followed by the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from FC Barcelona, and the club wanted to continue this trend and sign the French striker to help share the goal-scoring burden with Olivier Giroud.
The North London club have been ever-present in the Top 4, however, the club have failed to genuinely challenge for the title in recent years, and many believe that following the addition of Petr Cech from Chelsea FC, the club are only a World Class striker away from genuinely challenging for the title.
A World Class striker however, is not only available at a premium, but is also hard to find, with an apparent dearth of lethal goal-scorers, a trend which has seen majority of average players being sold for top dollar. However, the general consensus is that Arsene won’t sign a striker if his alleged pursuit of Benzema fails, and will stick with Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck, El Confidencial journalist Kike Marin believes to the contrary, as he revealed yesterday that Arsenal FC also had a ‘Top Secret’ back-up option in mind, which he revealed to be Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski. If Wenger does sign either of these two strikers, the Gunners would finally have a squad capable of challenging Chelsea FC, Manchester City and Manchester United for the title next season.
