Atalanta are the latest to enter the race for Crysencio Summerville, with Tottenham and Aston Villa also interested.
Crysencio Summerville is attracting widespread interest from the Premier League as well as abroad, according to Tutto Atalanta. Atalanta are the latest to enter the race for the West Ham winger, while Tottenham and Aston Villa are also keen to snap him up, especially if the Hammers suffer relegation.
Summerville has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League since the turn of the year. Up until that point, he was putting in below-par displays as West Ham United sleepwalked into the relegation zone, where they remain in danger of going down.
However, performances from the likes of Summerville have stepped up in a big way, with 11 goal contributions this season overall. He is one of the main reasons why they still have a chance of staying up. Should they end up going down, the Dutch winger is expected to attract offers from many clubs, with Aston Villa and Tottenham among those interested.
Spurs are keen on Summerville as they sought a new wide attacker to bolster the left-hand side of the attack. Tottenham are in a similar position to West Ham in the relegation race, as they will only have a chance of signing players like Summerville if they manage to stay up.
Aston Villa are also interested, as they are expected to find solutions that will improve their attacking setup, with a left-sided attacker certainly on the agenda. Unai Emery’s side are expected to make a sizeable offer, with the report stating a €30 million asking price.
Atalanta to chase Crysencio Summerville?
Atalanta are the latest to enter the race for Summerville, with the club still seeking a viable replacement for Ademola Lookman, who joined Atlético Madrid in January. Summerville is seen as the player who could potentially replicate the Nigerian’s numbers for the Bergamo side.
There is competition from within Serie A, as Napoli were mentioned as a suitor not so long ago. Atalanta could potentially offer him a strong position within the side, although they are not expected to be at the top of the pecking order when chasing the winger, considering the interest from Premier League clubs.
