According to a report from TEAMtalk, both English clubs are scouting AS Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche and Lamine Camara ahead of a potential transfer this summer. United and Newcastle scouts were in the stands to watch the duo in action against Lyon on Sunday.
While the focus is on bringing in players who can have an immediate impact, they are also looking for youngsters who can help them in the short as well as the long run. Both clubs consider the Monaco duo an ideal fit for their project, and they are gearing up for an intense transfer battle.
Monaco duo could be heading to the Premier League
Akliouche has already made quite a name for himself. The 24-year-old is capable enough to feature on the right flank as well as a number ten. He is already a key figure in the Monaco setup and has been in fine form in recent weeks.

The Senegalese international has impressed scouts, who believe he is on par with the likes of Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba and Adam Wharton, who are set to be central figures in the upcoming transfer window.
