Manchester United interested in Endrick move

Manchester United are reportedly interested in a move for Endrick ahead of the summer, with an approach likely in the summer.

According to Fichajes, Manchester United are showing an interest in signing Endrick ahead of the summer. The Brazilian continues to turn heads with his displays in France while on loan at Lyon, as a big offer from suitors like the Red Devils could bring Real Madrid to the negotiating table.

Endrick is finally realising his talent on the European front, with the young attacker showing massive signs of improvement. Real Madrid invested heavily in his signing when he was a relative unknown but a promising teenager growing up with Palmeiras, and they do view him as a big talent for the future.

When he did join Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti gave him regular minutes off the bench, but barring a few bright moments, the striker did not show major signs of improvement. Meanwhile, he was completely overlooked by Xabi Alonso, as Real Madrid agreed to send him on loan to help him get minutes under his belt, as Lyon won the race.

Over in France, Endrick has five goals and one assist in six official matches for the French giants, and that has already attracted interest from some of the big Premier League teams. Chelsea are interested in the attacker, with a view to a summer approach, while Tottenham are also keen to pay big.

Manchester United were keen to take him on loan before his switch to Lyon, as the Red Devils are ready to re-enter the chase with a view to a permanent transfer. It will take a big offer from them to convince Real Madrid to negotiate, something that will get clearer when the summer window approaches, as the Spanish giants are not particularly considering a sale.

Will Endrick suit Manchester United?

Manchester United may have to offer top dollar to convince Real Madrid, and then there’s the task of explaining the player his role on this side. There will be questions about whether the 19-year-old wonderkid will fit into this team, but there could be a plan.

Manchester United could use the 19-year-old wonderkid as a different option to lead the line, as he does offer something very different to their existing options, such as Benjamin Sesko. From a tactical standpoint, he could be a great fit for their system, but any move will depend on Real Madrid’s stance on Endrick ahead of the summer.
