The talented England international is already a target for some of the big-name teams in the division, with a summer move widely expected.
Palace are anticipating approaches from some of the big teams, with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United among those interested. The Eagles are reportedly demanding at least €95 million for Wharton ahead of the summer, with the midfielder poised to leave Selhurst Park around then.
That sum may not deter the hopes of Liverpool or Manchester United, with both those teams planning on making big changes to the midfield. Starting with Liverpool, the reigning Premier League champions had been looking for a midfield controller profile for some time now, and had links to Martin Zubimendi in the summer of 2024, but he chose to join Arsenal in 2025.
They are among those keeping close tabs on Wharton and would be willing to fork out a large sum for the midfield target.
