Fabian Mrozek set to join FC Cincinnati

Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati are on the verge of signing Liverpool goalkeeping sensation Fabian Mrozek.

Fabian Mrozek’s time at Liverpool could soon come to an end, as FC Cincinnati are on the verge of securing his services. According to a report from Sky Sports, the Polish goalkeeper is set to join the Major League Soccer club on loan. They will also have an option to make the move permanent.

Mrozek joined the Liverpool youth setup back in 2020. While the Merseyside club had massive expectations from the 22-year-old, he has not really lived up to them. The Polish shot-stopper has spent a significant amount of time out on loan.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at Forest Green Rovers. He was involved in 11 matches, conceded 13 goals and kept three clean sheets. Given how things have gone so far, Mrozek is unlikely to break into their first team any time soon.

As a result, the 22-year-old has been considering his future, and he now has the opportunity to part ways with the Merseyside club to try and revive his career. MLS club Cincinnati are looking to add more quality to their goalkeeping position.
