Leeds United interested in Noa Lang

Plymouth Argyle vs Leeds United: Preview and Prediction. The Whites can guarantee the EFL Championship title with a win.

Leeds United have sounded out a move for Noa Lang this month, and are one of the clubs willing to take the Dutch attacker on loan from Napoli.

According to Area Napoli, Noa Lang is a target forLeeds United this month as the Premier League newcomers are eager to bolster their attacking setup. Daniel Farke has been angling to sign a wide attacker this month, and among the many options ahead, the Napoli star is a loan target for them this month.

Leeds United are making efforts to rectify some problems in the squad by using the January window to bring in fresh reinforcements. Daniel Farke’s side have picked up form over the last many weeks and are now sitting well outside of the relegation zone.

The club are not resting on their laurels, given their current advantage in the relegation fight, and wants to find ways to improve the team. While they had been looking for a new striker earlier in the season, the superb form of Dominic Calvert-Lewin has shifted their attention towards another attacking position.

The left wing is an area of concern for Farke, as they have been in the market for a new winger in January. Sevilla’s Ruben Vargas was linked earlier, and could still be a target before the window shuts, but he’s not alone. Barcelona’s Roony Bardghji is another name under consideration, although the deal is seen as a bit difficult at this point.

Chelsea’s Tyrique George is also being mentioned, and now, Napoli’s Noa Lang is being linked with a move to the Elland Road outfit. The 26-year-old league-winning attacker joined Napoli from PSV Eindhoven after an Eredivisie-winning season, and while he has benefited in Antonio Conte’s side owing to some key injuries to first-team stars, there could be a case for teams like Leeds United to convince him.

Noa Lang to Leeds United?

Lang did have a few Premier League teams chasing last summer before he signed a five-year deal at Napoli. As things stand, there’s another emerging opportunity for the 26-year-old league-winning attacker to consider a move to England, although no reports state he’s unhappy in Italy.

Leeds United are willing to make a loan approach for the Dutch attacker, which would require them to cover his salary worth €2.5 million net per season, as well as bonuses worth €300,000. It remains to be seen whether Leeds United can convince the player over a temporary switch, although his performances for Napoli have been decent and certainly no reason to think about offloading in the middle of the season.
