Leeds United are keen on acquiring the services of Manchester United academy sensation Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher.
According to a report from Football Insider, Leeds United are plotting a raid on Manchester United to sign their teenage attacking star Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher. His sensational rise has not gone unnoticed, and the Yorkshire-based outfit have already registered interest in the Serbian youth international.
Ibrovic-Fletcher had a stint at Sheffield United before moving to Old Trafford and is currently a part of the Red Devils’ under-18 team. He signed his Manchester United scholarship in 2025 and has only gone from strength to strength since.
The Leeds-born attacking midfielder has represented Serbia at the youth level from the Under-16s to the Under-19s. While he has been a regular feature in Darren Fletcher’s Under-18s team, the 17-year-old is ready to switch clubs to accelerate his development and find a quicker route to first-team football.
He has featured in seven matches so far this term, and two of those have been starts. While he remains an important part of their setup, the teenage attacking prospect feels a move elsewhere could help him get more minutes and help him progress.
Leeds United are eager to sign Ibrovic-Fletcher this month
Leeds United have emerged as a potential destination for Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher in the winter transfer window. The West Yorkshire outfit have been keeping tabs on the youngster for some time and feel he could have a bright future ahead. As a result, they are keen on acquiring his services.
Ideally, Manchester United prefer keeping their young guns. But it seems they would be willing to let the teenage prospect leave this month. Leeds United have already registered interest in the Serbian youth international and are ready to offer him a deal to move to Elland Road.
It remains to be seen what kind of role he will be handed if he ends up making the move. While a spot in the first-team squad looks very unlikely, Leeds United are fighting for survival in the top flight, so it won’t be much of a surprise if he gets a few opportunities, even if he starts off with their youth team.
