Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United reportedly have no intentions of sanctioning Mason Mount’s departure next year.
Mason Mount has had a torrid time with injuries since joining Manchester United, and he has often been linked with a move away. While multiple reports have suggested that the Red Devils could look to move him on in 2026, that does not seem to be the case.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, Manchester United have no plans of selling Mount, who looks to have finally put his injury concerns behind him and has been a consistent feature in Ruben Amorim’s team. The Portuguese manager is delighted with his performances, and he has no plans of letting the player leave.
Mason Mount joined the Manchester-based club back in 2023 from Chelsea in a deal worth £55 million. While the Red Devils had massive expectations from the English international, injuries never really allowed him to showcase his true potential.
After years of struggle at Old Trafford, Mount finally seems to have regained full fitness. The Englishman has had an extended run in the team under Amorim, and he is making the most out of it. The central midfielder has been involved in 15 matches across competitions, racked up close to 800 minutes and has contributed towards four goals.

The former Chelsea playmaker has already started more games for United this season than he did in any of his previous campaigns with the Manchester-based club. The 26-year-old is very close to being at his best, and he is considered a very important part of the Portuguese manager’s plans.
