Arsenal, Liverpool lead Premier League chase of Angelo Stiller, Real Madrid also keen

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing 24-year-old German international Angelo Stiller from VfB Stuttgart next year.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on signing Angelo Stiller next year. It has also been suggested that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the VfB Stuttgart midfielder.

The German international is also a long-term target for Real Madrid. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the coming months. Stiller has a €40 million release clause in his contract, which will be activated in 2026. Stiller could prove to be an excellent addition for that price.

With Real Madrid looking for more creativity from the middle of the park, the highly-rated midfielder is a viable target. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old has shown his ability in the Bundesliga, and he has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League as well.

Liverpool could use a quality defensive midfielder like him. He could prove to be a major upgrade on Wataru Endo. The opportunity to join the Premier League champions will be quite exciting for him. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool decide to come forward with an offer for Angelo Stiller in the future.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are already well stocked in the middle of the park, and it would be quite surprising if they decide to make a move for him. The 24-year-old will want to play regularly at this stage of his career, and Arsenal might not be able to provide him with such assurances. Moving to Liverpool would be ideal for him, even though he is a target for Arsenal.

Manchester United and Tottenham may also pursue Stiller

The report has suggested that Manchester United and Tottenham are keeping tabs on Angelo Stiller’s development as well. Both clubs need more quality in the middle of the park, and the 24-year-old could be tailor-made for them. He will add physicality and defensive cover. The reported €40 million asking price is quite reasonable for a player of his potential, and he could easily justify the investment in the future.

It will be interesting to see which of the four suitors come forward with an offer to test the resolve of the Bundesliga club. If they decide to pay his release clause in 2026, Angelo Stiller could help them improve in midfield.

Meanwhile, Stuttgart have an option to buy the player out of his release clause by paying €2 million, and that could complicate any potential move for the English clubs. It would allow the Bundesliga outfit club to raise his asking price. It remains to be seen how the situation develops over the next few months, especially with Real Madrid also involved in the battle.
