Tottenham optimistic of signing Eberechi Eze, personal terms agreed

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing AS Monaco star Maghnes Akliouche.

Tottenham are reportedly optimistic about signing 27-year-old Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze during the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to bring in Eberechi Eze, and they have already agreed on personal terms with him, as per Fabrizio Romano. The transfer is likely to cost in excess of £60 million. Tottenham need more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and the 27-year-old should prove to be a quality acquisition.

The English international has established himself as one of the most reliable attacking players in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, and there is no doubt that he has the qualities to thrive at Tottenham as well. Eze will look to prove himself at a higher level and showcase his qualities in the UEFA Champions League.

Tottenham have already improved their attacking unit by signing Mohammed Kudus, and it seems that they are looking to add more quality to the offensive unit. Tottenham, ideally, should look to invest in another quality striker as well.

Spurs have enjoyed an impressive start to their 2025/26 Premier League campaign with a comprehensive victory over Burnley. They will look to build on it and put together a winning run now. Signing the right players will certainly help them improve.

Right time for Eze to move on

The 27-year-old is at the peak of his career, and this is the right time for him to try out a new challenge. Joining one of the biggest clubs in the country would be ideal for him. He will certainly hope that the two clubs can finalise an agreement quickly.

The Englishman registered 25 goal contributions last season, and he has the qualities to take Tottenham to a whole new level. On paper, he could be the ideal replacement for club legend Son Heung-min. The South Korean moved to MLS earlier this summer, and Tottenham need to fill the void left by him.

Tottenham managed to win the UEFA Europa League last season, and they have brought in a quality manager in Thomas Frank. Eze is a viable target for Spurs, and the 27-year-old Englishman will look to fulfil his potential under him and fight for major trophies.
