Scottish club Hearts are interested in acquiring the services of Everton academy graduate Harry Tyrer before the transfer deadline.
According to a report from Football Insider, Harry Tyrer could end up parting ways with Everton before the end of the transfer window as Hearts are keen on signing him. The Scottish club are looking for a new goalkeeper with an eye on the future, and they feel the Toffees graduate could help their cause.
Tyrer has been a part of the Everton setup since his childhood days. The youngster has come up the ranks at some pace, and after multiple successful loan spells, he was promoted to the first team last summer. However, he is yet to make a senior appearance for them.
The 23-year-old was out on loan at League One outfit Blackpool last season. He was involved in a total of 42 matches and finished with 13 clean sheets. While the player did put in some impressive performances, he is way down the pecking order under David Moyes.
Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia have both left Everton, but they have added Mark Travers to their squad, which suggests Tyrer is unlikely to have much game time. The player is keen on playing regularly, and he is ready to secure a permanent exit from the Merseyside club.
