Manchester United are prepared to lower Jadon Sancho’s asking price, as Borussia Dortmund contemplate entering the race.

According to Ben Jacobs, Borussia Dortmund are contemplating whether or not to enter the race for Jadon Sancho. Manchester United are willing to reduce their asking price even further as they are prepared to accept as much as £17 million, as Juventus are still in the mix.

Manchester United are focused on bringing in key players that strengthen their squad, but they have plenty of sales to conduct. The Red Devils have a host of high-profile players waiting in the wings to get out of the club, and Jadon Sancho is among those.

Manchester United are eager to get rid of Sancho, although there have been plenty of challenges to maneuver ahead of find the right solution for the winger. His wages have been the biggest stumbling block, as the attacker was not previously prepared to let go of his potential earnings in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford. The club were also prepared to terminate his deal and hand him a severance package.

The club would certainly prefer a sale, as Manchester United are now prepared to lower their asking price in a bid to attract more suitors, as the club are now ready to sell Sancho for as much as £17 million. That fee is significantly lower than the £25 million that Chelsea had as a buy obligation on their loan deal.

Juventus are in the mix for Sancho, as they have held positive talks over a move recently. There’s no clarity on how they are prepared to manage the £17 million-rated Manchester United flop’s wage demands, but a move might materialise in the end.
