Liverpool stance on Luis Diaz future revealed amid his personal terms agreement with Bayern Munich

Liverpool are adamant on their stance on Luis Diaz and will demand at least €100 million to sell him amid heavy interest from Bayern Munich.

According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Liverpool are unmoved by Luis Diaz’s latest updates as they continue to demand at least €100 million to sell the 28-year-old. The winger is at the crossroads of a big career decision where he might be open to staying put if a new contract is forthcoming or else be sold amid heavy interest from Bayern Munich.

Luis Diaz has continued to cut a curious figure amid uncertainty surrounding his future. The Colombian attacker was an integral part of Arne Slot’s side in their title-winning campaign, and the Dutch tactician is keen to keep hold of the winger as part of his setup for the upcoming campaign.

However, the winger is puzzled by the prospect of his future as Liverpool are not currently entertaining the prospect of a new deal, nor are they showing any signs that to want to sell him. The Reds have recently rejected an offer from Bayern Munich, which was a second this summer after turning down one from Barcelona earlier in the summer.

The Blaugrana have since moved on to Marcus Rashford, but Luis Diaz’s future remains uncertain at Merseyside. The Premier League champions are not open to sitting down for talks over a new deal, and given the Colombian attacker’s current agreement expires in 2027, it might ideally be the right time for them to cash in.

Bayern Munich are set to make a fresh attempt, with suggestions that they might go up to €80 million. That too may fall short as Liverpool are demanding at least €100 million to sell the 28-year-old winger, which may result in the Bavarians backing away from the race.

Luis Diaz is in a limbo

Diaz wants clarity on his future with the club as he is demanding either a new contract or a sale. Liverpool are not responding to either and remains unperturbed by reports stating that Diaz has an agreement on personal terms with Bayern Munich. Either way, his future could see a resolution brought forward in the coming period, although only the Saudi Arabian sides can pay as much for the €100 million-rated star.

Luis Diaz is currently unhappy about Liverpool’s stance and would ideally prefer a switch to Bayern Munich. The report states the Colombian international could potentially quadruple his current wages at Bayern Munich, who are keen to land a left-sided attacker following the departure of Leroy Sane.
