Liverpool and Manchester United are both keen on acquiring the services of Southampton attacking sensation Tyler Dibling.

According to Fabrizio Romano via Give Me Sport, Liverpool and Manchester United are both interested in signing Tyler Dibling. He is considered to be one of the best young talents in the country, and both Premier League giants have sent scouts to watch him in action throughout the ongoing season.

While speaking to Give Me Sport, the Italian transfer expert said, “It’s a complicated season for Southampton, but he’s still considered one of the best talents around. And so, for example, I heard several times about Man United, and also Liverpool sending their scouts to follow the player.”

Southampton are rock bottom of the Premier League with just nine points in their 29 outings, and relegation from the Premier League looks almost certain. While things have not worked out for the Saints in the top flight, Tyler Dibling has certainly stood out with his performances.

The 19-year-old has established himself as one of their mainstays in no time. The teenage sensation has featured in a total of 30 matches, and he has contributed towards six goals. While the youngster can feature in a variety of positions, he has taken up the role of a right winger on most occasions.

Premier League giants could battle for Dibling

With the Saints set for relegation, multiple top clubs are gearing up to try and prise him away. Liverpool and Manchester United are both interested in Tyler Dibling’s services. They have sent scouts to watch him and have received glowing reports.

While the Englishman prefers playing as a right-winger, Manchester United are looking at him as a wing-back option as he has the pace and the ability to go up and down the pitch. Having missed out on their top target Geovany Quenda, they feel Dibling could help their cause.

As far as the Reds are concerned, they are looking at Tyler Dibling as an option to bolster their attack. With Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, and Darwin Nunez’s future uncertain, they want to add more quality on the flanks. The 19-year-old could be a great addition for the short as well as the long run.

He could replace Salah in years to come and Slot’s team are looking at him as a great value signing. Relegation will make it difficult for the Saints to keep hold of their prized asset, but they will still demand a hefty fee to let him go. With his contract running until the summer of 2027, the relegation-threatened Premier League are in a strong position to negotiate a significant payout.
