Arsenal, Manchester United tracking Dusan Vlahovic situation as Juventus plan meeting

Arsenal offer €47 million to sign Chelsea target Riccardo Calafiori, told to pay more.

Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Dusan Vlahovic’s situation at Juventus.

Dusan Vlahovic could soon end up parting ways with Juventus and according to a report from CaughtOffside, Arsenal and Manchester United are both closely monitoring his situation at the Turin-based club as they wait for the perfect opportunity to lure him to their respective clubs.

Vlahovic made a name for himself while playing for Fiorentina before securing a move to Juventus at the start of 2022. While he found it quite difficult to adjust to life at Juventus in the initial phase, the Serbian international has certainly managed to overcome the challenges.

He might not have reached the expected levels but the 24-year-old is certainly amongst the best forwards in Italy. He has 12 goals and two assists in his 23 outings this season.

While he remains a key figure in Juventus’ first team, his future has been a massive talking point for some time now. The Serbian striker’s contract at the Turin-based club runs out in the summer of 2026 and he is not ready to extend his stay at the club.

The Italian club will continue to try and convince him to put pen to paper. But, they are pretty much convinced that he is all set to be on the move. The Old Lady are all set to hold a meeting regarding his future next month. The expectation is that Juventus will set an asking price of around €65 million with the player not keen on a new deal.

United and Arsenal keen on Vlahovic

Multiple top clubs are aware of his situation and Manchester United and Arsenal are two clubs that are looking to make the most out of it. The Red Devils are looking to bring in someone who can bolster their attack. They are ready to offload Joshua Zirkzee and could explore a potential swap deal with Juventus as they are keen on the Dutch international’s signature.

The Gunners are not looking to part ways with any of their forward but they do need a new number nine. Gabriel Jesus is not an out-and-out striker while Kai Havertz ideally prefers playing as a number ten. As a result, Mikel Arteta needs a proven goal scorer and Vlahovic can certainly help his cause.

While the Serbian international could do wonders for both clubs, the €65 million price tag could be a touch on the higher side.
