Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Tottenham keen on Igor Paixao

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Tottenham are all interested in signing Feyenoord attacking sensation Igor Paixao.

Igor Paixao’s consistent performances for Feyenoord have put him on the radar of multiple top clubs. The Brazilian winger finds himself on the wishlist of quite a few English clubs and he could end up making a move to the Premier League in the ongoing transfer window.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Tottenham are all interested in the services of the Feyenoord attacker. All four clubs have scouted him in the recent past and they could sign him for a fee of around €30-35 million.

Paixao has been a part of the Dutch club since the summer of 2022. He has gone from strength to strength over the years and has 49 goal contributions in his 106 outings. The 24-year-old winger has had an impressive first half of the season with 18 goal contributions in his 24 outings.

Paixao could be heading to the Premier League

Quite a few clubs have taken note of his performances and they are plotting a raid on Feyenoord. Arsenal and Liverpool are both looking at the winter window as an opportunity to bolster their squad. The Gunners are interested in the services of the versatile forward as they look to add more firepower to their team following the injury to Bukayo Saka.

They need to bring in a top-quality forward to ensure they can revive their title pursuit. Signing a big name in January is unlikely and they won’t want to overspend. As a result, Paixao could be just the perfect fit for them as he could switch clubs for around €30-35 million.

While Liverpool already have a start-studded attack, Mohamed Salah’s long-term future is uncertain. Paixao could be a great signing for both the short as well as the long run. Meanwhile, he can also be an ideal cover for someone like Diogo Jota who is injury-prone.

Apart from the Gunners and the Reds who have scouted in him the recent past, scouts of Tottenham and Aston Villa have also been impressed with the young forward’s performances. They believe he has what it takes to succeed at the highest level.

Ange Postecoglou would love to add more firepower to his team after a disappointing first half while Unai Emery seeks more quality. The Spanish manager loves to work with versatile stars and Paixao will surely fit into his system. While nothing concrete has happened so far, his future is one to keep a close eye on.
