Liverpool have established contact to sign Eintracht Frankfurt attacking sensation Omar Marmoush, with the player eager to make the move to Anfield.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool are looking at ways to reinforce their attack, and they are interested in the services of Omar Marmoush who has been in red hot form of late. The Reds have already established contact with the player’s camp as they want to bring him to Anfield.
Marmoush made the move to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023, and he has only gone from strength to strength over the last 18 months. In his debut season for the Bundesliga club, the 25-year-old striker was involved in 41 matches, and he ended up contributing towards 23 goals (17 goals, 6 assists).
While he prefers playing as a nine, the Egyptian international can feature as a false nine, as an attacking midfielder as well as on the left flank. Omar Marmoush seems to have taken his game to another level in the 2024/25 season. In just 11 matches, he already has ten goals and seven assists to his name.
Marmoush’s exceptional form in the final third of the pitch has put him on the wishlist of some of the biggest clubs in Europe. While his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt runs until the summer of 2027, the amount of interest in his services suggests he could be on the move in the near future.

The Bundesliga club are aware of the increasing interest in their star striker, and they are currently looking for a fee of between €50-60 million to sanction his departure. Liverpool have emerged as a potential destination for Omar Marmoush.
The Reds do have a lot of options in the final third of the pitch, but they still seek more quality and a versatile forward like Marmoush could do wonders for them. Not only can he be their next big star, but his arrival will give Arne Slot multiple tactical options.
The Merseyside club are quite serious about their pursuit of the 25-year-old, and they have already contacted the player’s camp as they look to lure him to Anfield. Eintracht Frankfurt are aware of the fact that the Premier League giants are interested in his services.
The Reds have a massive advantage in the race to his signature as Marmoush dreams of moving to England, and he would immediately give the green light to join Liverpool.
