Wilson made a name for himself thanks to his consistent performances at Bournemouth. After a six-year-long spell with the Cherries, he ended up making the move to Newcastle in the summer of 2020. During his time at the Tyneside club, he has featured in a total of 108 matches and contributed towards 59 goals.
The 32-year-old averaged a goal even 109th minute in the Premier League last season and he still seems to have a few years left in him. But, he is unlikely to continue at Newcastle United. The Englishman is not an important part of Eddie Howe’s plans and with his contract running out in the summer of 2025, they want to cash in on him.
