Newcastle United remain interested in signing the Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi this summer.
The 24-year-old England international is a target for the Magpies and they have failed with multiple offers for the player. However, a report from CaughtOffside claims that they are not ready to give up on the England international yet.
Talks are currently ongoing between the two clubs and it will be interesting to see if Newcastle can agree on a deal with the London club for the defender.
The Chelsea academy graduate has proven himself with Crystal Palace and he said good enough to play for the biggest clubs in the country. Newcastle need to tighten up at the back this summer and Guehi would be a quality acquisition for them. He could form a quality partnership with the likes of Sven Botman and Lloyd Kelly.
