While they are working on a deal to sign the defensive midfielder from Real Sociedad, Liverpool are considering making another addition to the midfield, they seek a more attacking option and have their eyes on Atalanta’s Koopmeiners.
The Dutch international was on fire for the Italian club last season. He was involved in 51 matches and ended up contributing towards 22 goals (15 goals, 7 assists). He played a big part in their Europa League triumph and his performances had put him on the radar of Liverpool.

However, the report suggests the Old Lady are not looking to spend more than €50 million for the 27-year-old.
