Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer move for 28-year-old Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, albeit for the final days.

Leroy Sane has been linked with the move back to the Premier League, and Arsenal could look to try and sign him late on in the window, according to Arsenal insider Team News and Ticks. The Arsenal insider revealed that Arsenal could make a late move for the former Manchester City winger, and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

He said, “If anything happens late in the window I think the Sane situation is one that could go deep into the window. I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but, I think that’s one that could potentially go deep in the window if we haven’t sorted anything out and Bayern get players in that they feel would make Sane surplus, that’s something that could go deep in the window.”

Sane has played in the Premier League before with Manchester City, and he was outstanding for them. He could be a quality acquisition for Arsenal if they can get the deal done. The Gunners have considered signing him for a while now.

Arsenal could use someone like Sane

Mikel Arteta needs more quality in the wide areas so that he can rotate his squad and keep the key players fresh. Signing the 28-year-old could prove to be a wise decision. Sane knows the league well, and he could settle in quickly and make an instant impact.

Arsenal have not been able to rotate players like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka often due to the lack of depth in the squad. The arrival of the German international could solve that problem. He will add pace, flair and creativity to the side. He is versatile enough to operate on both flanks. The player is at the peak of his powers, and he could help push for major trophies.

Arsenal have missed out on the league title in the last two seasons, and they will look to push for the domestic crown this time around. Signing top quality players could help them overtake Manchester City. It will be interesting to see if they decide to pursue the German international late on the window. They have the financial resources to get the deal done.
