Manchester United are scouting the 18-year-old Palmeiras attacking sensation Luis Guilherme ahead of a potential move.

According to Andre Hernan, Manchester United have entered the race for the services of Luis Guilherme, they recently scouted the Brazilian winger. The teenage sensation has made quite a name for himself with his impressive performances and there is no shortage of interest in him.

Guilherme has come up the ranks at Palmeiras. He has had an impressive rise to the top, the teenager was promoted to their first team at the start of 2023. He has already featured in 38 matches for their first team.

Despite only being 18, the Brazilian winger has managed to establish himself in their first team and is currently a part of the Brazil Under-20 team. His exceptional performances along the way have attracted a lot of interest from across Europe.

Liverpool and United to battle it out for Guilherme

Liverpool are one of the clubs that are interested in the teenager’s services. The Reds feel he could be a great acquisition for the long term and have already made a move. As per reports, the Merseyside club have made a verbal offer worth €20 million for the Palmeiras sensation.

While Liverpool are working hard to sign the 18-year-old, Manchester United have also registered their interest in him. The Red Devils recently sent their scouts to watch Guilherme in action as they prepare to push for his signatures.

The Manchester-based club are interested in the teenager as they feel he could be a great signing for the club in the long term. Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his team are expected to push for youngsters and Guilherme is a talent they do not want to miss out on.

Palmeiras’ stance on Guilherme

While both United and Liverpool are ready to battle it out for his services, they will not find it easy to land him at the club. Palmeiras are not ready to sanction his departure in the summer. They are all set to lose Endrick to Real Madrid and Estevão William is also on the radar of multiple top clubs.

As a result, they do not want to part ways with Guilherme any time soon. With the player protected by a €50 million release clause, they are looking to hold onto him. Despite Palmeiras’ stance, United and Liverpool are still pushing and if either of them make an official bid, that could be a way to position themselves to sign him in 2025.
