Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all keen on having Polish attacking midfielder Sebastian Szymanski in their ranks.
According to a report by Fichajes, Sebastian Szymanski is on the radar of Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The three English clubs are looking to make a move in the next summer transfer window. While Fenerbahce would love to have him in their ranks for a few more years, a fee of around €35 million could do the trick.
Szymanski was on loan at Feyenoord from Dynamo Moscow last season. The attacking midfielder had an impressive spell and on the back of it, the Turkish giants decided to sign him ahead of the ongoing season.
Fenerbahce’s summer signing does wonders
Since making the move to Turkey, the 24-year-old Polish international has been on fire. He has featured in a total of 39 matches so far and contributed towards 26 goals. He has found the back of the net on 12 occasions and has bagged another 14 assists.
His exceptional performances and huge potential have attracted interest from across Europe. There is a lot of interest in particular from England, clubs from the Premier League are willing to go hard to sign him ahead of next season.
English giants keen on Szymanski’s signatures
Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been monitoring him for a while. They have sent scouts to Turkey to watch the 24-year-old in action and they have been quite impressed by Szymanski. He has done enough in the ongoing season to suggest he can succeed in the English top flight.
The Gunners do have Martin Ødegaard in their ranks but Arteta is still keen on having the Polish international because he can cover for the Arsenal skipper and can even feature on the right flank as well as a central midfielder if needed.
As far as United are concerned, they are expected to push for young players under their new ownership. The Red Devils will push for players who can help them in the long run and Szymanski can surely do it for them.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur lack depth in attack and the Fenerbahce attacking midfielder could solve that problem and also add a lot of quality to their ranks.
His contract with the Turkish club runs until the summer of 2027 and they would love to have him beyond the summer. But, that is unlikely to happen with clubs pushing hard for his signatures. He is currently valued at €22.5 million and according to the report, a fee of around €35 million should be enough for the 24-year-old.
