Bournemouth bracing for bids for Dominic Solanke amid Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle United links

Arsenal unwilling to move for Callum Wilson.

Bournemouth are reportedly expecting offers for star striker Dominic Solanke, a target for Arsenal, Tottenham, and Newcastle United.

A report from Football Insider has claimed that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Dominic Solanke, and they have been monitoring his progress. The North London clubs will face competition from Premier League rivals Newcastle United as well. However, a January move is unlikely, and all three clubs are eyeing him up for the summer window.

Dominic Solanke on the Rise

Solanke has been in outstanding form for Bournemouth this season, scoring 13 goals across all competitions. The 26-year-old striker has 12 strikes in the Premier League, and he would certainly improve the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle United.

Arsenal need to bring in a quality goal scorer, especially with Gabriel Jesus struggling to score goals consistently. The Brazilian has scored just three goals in the league this season. Solanke has thus emerged as a viable target.

As for Tottenham, they have not replaced Harry Kane, and they have been overly dependent on Son Heung-min for goals. They need more options that their disposal, and Solanke would lead the line for them. He could share the goalscoring burden with Son next season.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United have Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson at their disposal. Both players have been quite impressive for them, but Wilson’s availability remains a major concern because of his persistent injury problems.

Newcastle need more depth in their squad, and Solanke would be a solid acquisition. He has played under Eddie Howe in the past, and the Newcastle manager has openly admitted his admiration for the player. He should be able to adapt to his system and make an immediate impact at Newcastle United.

All three clubs have the financial resources to sign the 26-year-old striker, and he could be tempted to take the next step in his career and join a big club. So, it is hardly surprising that Bournemouth are bracing themselves for an offer from the bigwigs.

Arsenal and Tottenham could provide him with the platform to compete for major trophies in the coming seasons. Newcastle have the finances to put together a formidable squad as well, and they are likely to be competing towards the top end of the table in the near future. But Financial Fair Play issues might complicate matters for them.
