Manchester United will find it tough to sign Antonio Nusa in January

Manchester United have been linked with a move for emerging 18-year-old Norwegian attacker Antonio Nusa.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are keeping tabs on Antonio Nusa. But a move in the January transfer window is unlikely. The 18-year-old is expected to develop into a top-class winger, and he has a big future ahead of him. If Manchester United can sign him in the coming months, he should prove to be a solid, long-term investment.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed to Give Me Sport that Nusa is a player with significant value, and it will be tough for Manchester United to lure him away from Club Brugge midway through the season. The Belgian outfit will want to hold onto him until the end of the campaign. So, it remains to be seen whether Manchester United decide to move on to other alternatives.

“I think, for Neto in January it is going to be very difficult to reach an agreement with Wolves. For Nusa, it’s the same. Nusa is a player with a very big value and I think it’s going to be tough to go for this kind of player. Maybe more for some opportunities instead. Maybe in the January transfer window, you can find some players on loan until the end of the season.”

The Red Devils need to bring in quality attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window, and someone like Nusa could have made a big difference for them in the final third. The 18-year-old would have helped them open up deep defences with his pace and trickery.

Jadon Sancho and Antony have not been able to live up to the expectations. So, Manchester United need to bring in a quality winger in January. The Red Devils were expected to compete for the league title this season. Instead, they are now fighting for a place in the Champions League next season. The right additions in January could help them get their campaign back on track.

Manchester United certainly have the financial resources to pay big money for the 18-year-old. So, it will be interesting to see if they decide to try their luck when the transfer window reopens in January. The opportunity to join a big club like Manchester United could be a tempting proposition for the youngster. He has been linked with other English clubs as well.
