Real Madrid considering a loan deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko

According to Fichajes, Spanish giants Real Madrid are keen to land Borussia Dortmund sensation Youssouga Moukoko on loan in the upcoming January transfer window.

The 18-year-old is fairly experienced for his age and has already racked up an impressive 77 appearances for Dortmund across all competitions. He has scored 13 goals and eight assists during that time, a promising tally for a player still developing his own style.

Moukoko has scored once in five games this season and has a bright future in the game. His performances have attracted attention from several top sides with Real Madrid also now keen.

Los Blancos parted ways with striker Karim Benzema this summer but did not bring in a replacement. This has left them short up top. Joselu, Rodrygo and Vinicus Jr have combined for just five goals all season, the same number as midfield maestro Jude Bellingham.

Having watched the recent loss to Atletico Madrid, Los Blancos could add a new striker to their ranks in January. While Moukoko might not be the finished article yet, his ability to make a difference could add a new dimension to the Real attack.

Dortmund have lost several stars in recent years and are no closer to beating Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title. With RB Leipzig and now Bayer Leverkusen also coming together as a team, life won’t get any easier for Dortmund.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, have put together a solid midfield that could rule the field for the upcoming decade. It is now the attack’s turn to be addressed and the roster upfront appears threadbare.

Moukoko, if he arrives at the Santiago Bernabeu will have six months to prove his worth. The German star will be keen to prove to his detractors that he can make a difference at one of the biggest clubs in world football, potentially even forcing their hand to make the move permanent.
