Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing 24-year-old Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall this summer.

A report from Football Transfers claims that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. And the Merseyside club could look to make a move for the 24-year-old Leicester City midfielder this summer.

Liverpool are keen on improving their midfield options before the summer transfer window closes, and they have already signed players like Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai. The Reds have been trying to sign Romeo Lavia from Southampton. But they have not been able to agree on a fee with the recently relegated club.

Southampton are reportedly holding out for £50 million, and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool can convince them to lower their demands. It will be interesting to see if the Leicester City midfielder is an alternative to the Belgian.

Liverpool have recently sanctioned the departures of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho. Both players have joined Saudi Arabian clubs in recent weeks, and Liverpool will have to replace them adequately.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has impressed with his performances in the Premier League. So it is no surprise that the big clubs are keeping tabs on him. The 24-year-old has the attributes to develop into a top-class midfielder. And working under a manager like Jurgen Klopp could help him improve further.

The German has a proven track record when it comes to nurturing talented young players, and he could groom the Leicester City midfielder into an asset for Liverpool in the coming seasons. The Foxes will not want to lose key players this summer. But they are under pressure following their relegation to the EFL Championship.

The 24-year-old midfielder could be keen on an exit this summer and the opportunity to join a big club Liverpool could be hard to turn down. Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world and despite an underwhelming campaign last year, they will be an attractive destination for most players.

Dewsbury-Hall is capable of operating as a defensive midfielder or central midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder. With the right coaching and guidance, the 24-year-old could develop into a complete central midfielder in the coming seasons.
