Bayern Munich have reached an agreement in principle with Harry Kane ahead of a potential transfer in the ongoing summer.

According to Christian Falk, Bayern Munich are keen on acquiring the services of Harry Kane and have reached an agreement in principle with the player. The 29-year-old Tottenham Hotspur striker has been the talk of the town of late with multiple clubs from across Europe keen on acquiring his services.

Kane has been a part of the Spurs setup since his childhood days. He has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. The 29-year-old has featured in 435 matches for the London club and has been involved in a total of 344 goals.

The England international has scored a total of 280 goals for Spurs and is the highest goal scorer in their history. With just one year left on his deal, there has been a lot of interest in his services.

The likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid have shown interest in having him in their ranks. Bayern Munich is the latest club to have joined the race for his signatures. The German giants are quite serious about their pursuit of the England international.

Robert Lewandowski parted ways with Bayern last summer and are yet to replace the Polish international. The German club struggled last season because of the absence of an out-and-out world-class striker and are keen on sorting the situation by signing Kane.

Bayern have been in talks with the player and his representatives of late. Kane’s brother and his father have been involved in negotiations with the German club. Both parties have managed to come on the same page, and they have reached an agreement in principle for a possible transfer this summer.

While there is nothing official about it, agreeing on basic personal terms will allow the German giants to now shift their focus towards negotiations with the club. Despite an agreement between the player and Bayern Munich, the deal is far from done. The German giants have the tough task of striking a deal with Tottenham Hotspur. The London club have stood in the players’ way in the past and they can do the same this summer.
