The long, drawn-out saga to sign Jude Bellingham has finally ended, and the 19-year-old has joined Real Madrid.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid will pay €103 million for Jude Bellingham, and Borussia Dortmund could receive around 30% of the fee in potential add-ons.

Bellingham was heavily linked with a move to clubs like Liverpool as well. But Real Madrid have finalised his signature. The midfielder will reportedly sign a long-term contract with the Spanish club until the summer of 2029.

The 19-year-old has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga, and he should prove to be a quality long-term investment for the Spanish giants as well. Real Madrid need to start planning for a future without Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. Bellingham should prove to be a solid acquisition for them.

The 19-year-old is already operating at a very high level and he has all the attributes to develop into a future superstar. The midfielder has 14 goals across all competitions this season, and he will add creativity, goals and physicality to the Real Madrid midfield.

The reported €103 million price seems steep right now, but the player has the potential to justify the investment in the coming seasons. Bellingham will be hoping to establish himself as a key player for the Spanish club next year.

Real Madrid have recently signed players like Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tcouameni. The signing of Bellingham will sort out their midfield unit for the foreseeable future. The Spanish giants should look to concentrate on improving their attacking options now.

They have lost star striker Karim Benzema, and Los Blancos will have to bring in a reliable finisher to replace the Frenchman. Real Madrid have been linked with players like Harry Kane. Meanwhile, Bellingham came agonisingly close to winning the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund this season. So he will be desperate to win a major trophy with Real Madrid next year.
