Real Madrid and Barcelona are both interested in acquiring the services of 19-year-old Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid and Barcelona are both keen on having Javi Guerra in their ranks ahead of next season. The 19-year-old has been the talk of the town after his late winner for Valencia against Real Valladolid.

Guerra came off the bench to score an injury-time winner to help his side claim three important points against Valladolid. Valencia are fighting for survival in La Liga, and his contribution could play a big part in helping them maintain their position in La Liga.

The 19-year-old joined Valencia back in the summer of 2019 from the youth team of Villarreal. He has since gone up the ranks and is currently a part of their ‘B’ team. The teenager has already featured thrice in La Liga this season and is considered a great prospect for the future.

Guerra’s contract with the Spanish club ends in the summer of 2024. And, he has already rejected a contract extension offer from the club and could be on the move in the upcoming transfer window.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in the services of the teenage sensation. He might have come into the limelight on the back of his heroics in the recent fixture. But, both Spanish giants have been keeping an eye on the Valencia midfielder for a while now.

Real Madrid have already acquired some of the best young midfielders in their squad. But, they are still on the lookout for a few more. And, they believe Guerra could be a great addition to their ranks. However, Los Blancos are not the only one in the race for his signatures.
