Arsenal have reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka to sign the defender on a free transfer next summer.

As per ilromanista, Arsenal have already sealed a deal for defender Evan Ndicka who is expected to join the North Londoners next summer for free. A defender has been a top priority for Mikel Arteta and it seems he is finally getting his player.

The Gunners were one of the most busiest sides in the summer transfer window bringing in the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko and they have executed their plans with utmost precision.

A riveting Premier League title race could be in the offing with the resumption of the Premier League after the World Cup but the manager wants to sort out his options for the next season.

Pablo Mari did appear to have a bright future at the Emirates Stadium but he didn’t really take up his chances which cost him his place in the squad. A left-footed defender could introduce severe competition to Gabriel who has already established his authority as one of the best defenders on English soil.

Arsenal’s North London neighbour Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest for the defender. Antonio Conte is determined to have a new centre-back at his disposal and could be looking to dislodge Arsenal from their target.

AS Roma also are said to be interested in the player but the French international who can also offer his expertise as a left back is pretty keen to honour his current contract at the German club.

An all-French defensive lineup could be on the cards as William Saliba too has broken all the shackles this time. The 21-year-old has managed to break into the team and has been a permanent fixture this time.

Ndicka helped Frankfurt to reach the pre-quarterfinal of the Champions League and in the Bundesliga too they have been doing pretty well. Securing a deal for Ndicka would be massive for the North Londoners who seem to have figured out a different approach under the guidance of Arteta.
