Arsenal table £33 million bid to sign Yeremy Pino

Arsenal offer €47 million to sign Chelsea target Riccardo Calafiori, told to pay more.

Arsenal have reportedly offered £33 million for Yeremy Pino, and Villarreal could accept the bid for the Spanish sensation, a target for Liverpool.

According to 90 min, Arsenal have already submitted a £33 million bid for Yeremy Pino, with Villarreal reportedly considering the offer. The Gunners have been linked with the teenage Spanish sensation in the last week, with the 19-year-old also a target for Liverpool.

Yeremy Pino has seen his stock rise, with many big clubs keeping tabs on his development at Villarreal. The Spaniard has been a regular under Unai Emery, with the 2021/22 season being his most prolific, yielding six goals and four assists in 31 La Liga games.

Villarreal have ideas in the transfer market and wish to bring in a few players to strengthen the squad. Emery understands that player sales might be necessary to accelerate their recruitment and have a few players they are ready to offload.

Yeremy was not part of the list consisting Pau Torres, Pervis Estupinan and Arnaut Danjuma. However, the 19-year-old Spanish sensation is attracting considerable interest instead, particularly from the Premier League, with Arsenal and Liverpool keen on signing him.

In fact, Arsenal and Liverpool lead the race for the winger, with both clubs searching for a wide attacker before the summer transfer window shuts down. The Gunners, in particular, are keen on bringing in a competitor for Bukayo Saka and have earmarked Yeremy as the likely contender.

The north Londoners originally wanted Raphinha and lost out to Barcelona after a tiring transfer tussle. Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby also remains a target for Arsenal, but Yeremy would suit in style and resembles a cheaper alternative to the French international.

Recent reports claimed that Arsenal were willing to shell out a considerable sum to sign Yeremy, but it seems they have made a £33 million bid, which Villarreal are considering now. According to the report, there is a feeling that the Spanish side could accept the proposal, for it comes closer to their asking price. So Liverpool will have to step up to beat Arsenal to the 19-year-old’s signature.

Despite being protected by a sizable release clause in Yeremy’s contract, Villarreal are aware that is not his actual market value. Arsenal’s offer is clearly below the exit clause, although it might be the only proposal on the table despite the considerable interest from other clubs, like Liverpool and Manchester City.

Considering the time left in the transfer window, Villarreal are looking to make a quick decision on the future of the 19-year-old Spanish sensation. Stylistically, Yeremy fits Arteta’s mould, although the Arsenal manager will have to work hard to get him to the proper standards. The future is bright for the Liverpool target, and a move to the Premier League could be a good step forward in his promising career.
